Róisín Curé is an urban sketcher, working in ink and watercolour. Born i Wicklow, she now lives and works in Galway taking inspiration from the her wild and natural surroundings. In 2012 she began the almost daily practice of drawing whatever happened to be in front of her. Since then she has gone on to publish four books of sketches and host a sketching podcast.

Róisín has taught location sketching across Europe since 2015, both privately and as an invited tutor, including at USk Symposia in 2018 and 2019, Compostela Ilustrada in Spain in 2019 and 2021, USk Switzerland Symposium in Bern in 2021, at Clermont Dessine in 2022 and in Artform, Co.Waterford in Ireland in 2023. She teaches monthly online sketching classes with students from all over the world and also shares sketching tips and advice on her YouTube channel.
