Michael McAloran

Michael McAloran is an Irish author and painter. Born in Belfast in 1976, he grew up in Shannon, Co. Clare where he currently lives.

McAloran is the author of over 35 collections of poetry, prose poetry, aphorisms and prose. Both his writing and his art deal with the darker elements and themes of human existence. His artwork is striking, the brushstrokes bold and experimental. He is a member of VAI, and recently began painting regularly.
