Born in Dublin in 1960, Sarah Langham spent her childhood summers by the sea in County Kerry, the beauty and wildness of the South West of Ireland was to have a profound impact on her later work as an artist. Having no formal training, Langham paints instinctively, often en plein air. Her works capture the ethereal light and rugged landscapes of the West of Ireland. She has been an artist in residence at the Cill Rialaig Artist Retreat on numerous occasions, and her works feature in private and public collections internationally.

Sarah Langham lives in Portroe, where she also has her studio.
